Fall in Love with Autumn at Good Family Farm Pumpkins
For the Good family, pumpkins are more than just a fall tradition—they’re a family legacy. Their farm, located just outside of Waterloo, has been in the family for over 60 years. Byron and Karen Good along with their two sons and their families now manage and work at Good Family Farm Pumpkins. Since 1994, they’ve been helping visitors celebrate the season with colourful, creative, and downright delightful fall produce.
What started as a small pumpkin patch with a few extras quickly grew into a full-on fall destination. Today, Good Family Farm Pumpkins offers more than 120 varieties of pumpkins, squash, and gourds! From pastel pinks to classic oranges, striped curiosities to warty wonders, there’s something here for every porch, pie, and Jack-o’-Lantern dream.
This family-run farm is about more than just fancy looking pumpkins. Their specialty squash (like the coveted Honeynut) brings customers back again and again for flavours they won’t find in a grocery store. And because everything is grown on-site, you can trust it’s as fresh and local as it gets.
“We take pride in growing what we sell,” says Karen Good. “We love the fall season, being outdoors, and connecting with the community. There’s a lot of heart behind everything we do.”
At Good Family Farm Pumpkins, fall is a celebration of abundance—of produce, of community, and of generations working the land together. Whether you’re planning a harvest table centerpiece, carving the perfect pumpkin, or hunting down heirloom squash, this is a stop you don’t want to miss.
