A Perfect Mix: the Ontario by Bike Waterloo Guelph Explorer

Ontario by Bike brought a group of over 40 cyclists through Waterloo Region as part of their Waterloo Guelph Explorer – a two-day bike getaway weekend designed to explore the region’s excellent bike trails, quiet country roads, small town charm and modern city amenities.

Fat Sparrow Group spreads its wings … to St. Jacobs

The Fat Sparrow Group continues to grow, and it has spread its wings into St. Jacobs, the company’s first foray outside of Uptown Waterloo. Stone Crock has been a St. Jacobs landmark and destination for locals and tourists alike for over 40 years. Nick and Natalie Benninger look forward to growing.

Profile: Dan Orr, ECOCafe Coffee Roaster

Ottawa-born Dan Orr has overseen coffee-roasting duties at St. Jacobs’ ECOCafe. The Stratford Chefs School graduate has spent most of his adult life working with food in one capacity or another. He intended on taking a bit a sabbatical at one point in his career, but he soon was drawn back in.
