Travel by Rail
Waterloo Region is accessible by both VIA Rail (Along the Windsor-Quebec City corridor) with a station in Kitchener as well as GO Transit (Kitchener line) with a station in Kitchener. Between the two services Waterloo Region is accessible by multiple trains daily across the province and the Greater Toronto Area.
Regional Transit
Grand River Transit is the major regional transit provider for Waterloo Region, providing bus and light rail infrastructure across the municipalities and townships.

Travel by Car and Bus
Waterloo Region is easily accessible by Highway 401, connecting the area to major metropolitan areas stretching from Windsor through the GTA and onto Ottawa and Montreal within a day’s drive.
