Three cities. Three farmers’ markets. A local food trifecta.

As the summer rolls along, the bounty of crops and produce coming out of the fields in Waterloo Region and its surrounding areas is unparalleled.

In Waterloo Region, the easiest way to access all of that fresh, local produce (and the resulting ready-made foods to take home and savour later) is by heading to one of Waterloo Region’s year-round Farmers’ Markets.

Because we know good things come in threes, here’s a selection of farmer-producers and hand-crafted food specialists (who often use the Region’s fresh local ingredients for their food preparation) that you can find in the three major city markets in the Region – Cambridge, Kitchener and, at the edge of Waterloo one of the country’s largest continuously running farmers’ markets, St. Jacobs.
