A Family Urban Bikepacking Adventure in Waterloo Region

Cycling enthusuast Joe Meissner set off with his wife and three children on what they called their “urban bikepacking adventure”. The route took them through several area trails that were also close to many local amenities. Here is how their 3-day adventure in Waterloo Region went.

Bingemans offers new tented venue for large celebrations

KitchenerToday July 28, 2020 – Bingemans has put together a new tented venue called “The Embassy Marquee” which is a 60′ x 100′ hawker-style tent designed for hosting events and weddings, while maintaining the province’s guidelines on social distancing.

Beer-Infused Sausages & Donuts Are Coming To Bingemans Oktoberfest

Sept. 6, 2019 – Along with a range of other new menu items, Bingemans Oktoberfest 2019 will feature a Waterloo beer-infused bratwurst, pigtails, beer-braised pork knuckles, pigtail mac n’ cheese balls, even the donuts will be glazed with beer! This year’s festival happens Oct. 11-19, 2019.

The Weather Network ‘Paddles’ into Bingemans

The sun was shining as The Weather Network paid a visit to Bingemans July 31 and August 1, 2019. Reporter Rachel Schoutsen had the opportunity to ride the waterslides at Big Splash, and enjoy a kayak ride along the Grand River.
